This month we all remember the events of September 11, 2001 and pay tribute to the victims, heroes and families affected that fateful day. New York City will honor those individuals with a stunning Memorial and Museum to open this month at Ground Zero. The architect’s designs for the Memorial and new World Trade Center will be iconic pieces added to the New York City skyline.
Insulation: When you can't stand the heat

Having a well-insulated building is one of the best things you can do. The more we heat and cool our buildings, the more money we spend, the more resources we consume and the more greenhouse gases we emit into the atmosphere.

The Design Process

Those who are not familiar with the architectural profession may incorrectly assume that the design of a project is a fairly simple thing, created almost immediately from the Architect’s vast ability to envision the completed creation (since everyone knows that Architects, after all, have vast mental and creative capacities…). All that needs to be done is transferring that vision onto paper in the form of the construction drawings. Well, it doesn’t really work that way.
