Thomas Small, AIA created the Master Plan for the Council for Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) which was used to program and fund the project currently underway at Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Small worked closely with Ms. Jeanie Nelson and her staff in the analysis of their existing facilities at the Robert Lester Training Center, and produced an architectural program of their anticipated space needs over the next twenty years. The program included such considerations as general offices and training classrooms, dornitories, cafeteria, firing ranges, ammunition bunker, water-rescue facilities, driver testing track, and site utilities and development. The program budget, less land costs, totaled approximately $20 million dollars. The project was successfully funded in 2001, and will be ready foor occupancy in 2004.
