The original facade was replaced in the 1940's and will be replaced again by the reconstruction project to restore the appearance of the original.

The J.C. Wicks Building was originally constructed in 1895, locatedf in historic downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma. Destroyed by fire in December of 2000, the current owner retained The Small Group to replicate the original 1895 Victorian design. The building is located within a historic district, and required coordination with the local preservation commission.
