The Small Group - Architects has vast experience in the area of historic preservation. The firm has completed numerous historic preservation-focused projects, a number of which are either currently listed on or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. All members of our office have experience with historic preservation, including exterior and interior projects, historic structures reports, new additions to historic properties, and similar types of preservation activities. The lead architect and principal of the firm, Thomas Small, serves on the Oklahoma City Historic Preservation Commission and is a recognized consultant on 19th and early 20th century architecture in Oklahoma. The firm was awarded the Preservation "Citation of Merit" in 2007 by the Oklahoma Historical Society.
